Our Policies
All patients must present a valid health card during every visit. If a patient does not have health coverage or insurance, an insurance service fee may apply. Kindly ensure that you keep up to date records of your current address and phone number. Do inform us of any changes to your personal information and house address. Also notify Manitoba Health about such changes so as to provide you a new health card with your updated information.
All new patients must book a meet and greet with our doctor. You will be required to fill a new patient intake form before or during this appointment. No other medical concerns will be addressed at this visit. Patient acceptance is based on the doctor’s discretion.
Appointments can be booked in person or over the phone. You can also do a walk-in if you are not a registered clinic patient. It is recommended that you limit a visit to ONE health issue and book follow-up visits for any additional concerns. In the case of an emergency, visit your nearest emergency hospital or call 911.
Please note that while we strive to provide the best quality care in a timely manner, wait times are estimated and may sometimes vary due to unforseen contingencies. We advise that you be respectful and understanding to our clinic staff as we aim to ensure patients are promptly attended to.
It is advised that you give as much notice as possible about 24 to 48 hours before your appointment, if you would not be able to attend. A fee will be incurred for a missed appointment if you do not show up nor contact us within the stipulated time frame.
Additional fees may be required for medical services not covered under Manitoba health. These include missed appointments, health forms, sick notes, school and work forms. Please ask for more information at the reception.
Please book an appointment with your doctor for prescription renewals as some may be filled through a prescription fax from your pharmacy or reassessment may be necessary.
